Google has a habit of teasing its upcoming products before the official launch, but this time, it may have gone too far.
The company accidentally revealed its next flagship phone, the Google Pixel 8 Pro, and its smartwatch, the Google Pixel Watch 2, on its website.
The leak happened on the same day that Apple announced the launch date of the iPhone 15 series, which is set for September 12.
The Pixel 8 Pro and the Pixel Watch 2 were spotted on the Google Store website’s subscriptions page by journalist Mishaal Rahman, who shared the screenshot on Twitter.
The image shows a woman holding the Pixel 8 Pro in white color, with a matching Pixel Watch 2 on her wrist.
The image was quickly removed from the website, but not before it went viral on social media.
What we know about the Pixel 8 Pro:
The Pixel 8 Pro is expected to be Google’s most powerful and premium phone yet, featuring a 6.7-inch OLED display with a high refresh rate and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The phone will be powered by the third-generation Tensor G chip, which is based on the 3nm process and will rival Apple’s A17 Bionic chip in terms of performance and efficiency.

The Pixel 8 Pro will also sport a new camera system, with a 64-megapixel ultrawide lens, an enhanced time-of-flight sensor, and a thermal sensor.
The main camera will have an oval-shaped cutout, which is a departure from the pill-shaped hole-punch design of the Pixel 7 Pro.
The phone will have a glass back with a metallic strip for the camera module and will come in white and black colors.
The Pixel 8 Pro is rumored to launch on October 4, along with the Pixel 8 and the Pixel Fold, which will be Google’s first foldable phone.
However, Google may give us a sneak peek at the Pixel 8 Pro and its features before the launch event, as it has done in the past with previous Pixel phones.
What we know about the Pixel Watch 2:
The Pixel Watch 2 is Google’s second attempt at making a smartwatch, after the disappointing debut of the Pixel Watch in 2022.
The Pixel Watch 2 will run on Wear OS 3, which is a revamped version of Google’s wearable operating system that combines the best features of Wear OS and Tizen OS.

The Pixel Watch 2 will have a circular display with thin bezels and a rotating crown for navigation. The watch will have a sleek design with a creamy-colored band and a silver case.
The watch will support wireless charging and will have various health and fitness features, such as heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen level measurement, sleep tracking, and more.
The Pixel Watch 2 will also work seamlessly with the Pixel 8 Pro and other Android phones, allowing users to access notifications, messages, calls, apps, and Google Assistant from their wrist.
The watch will also have some exclusive features for Pixel users, such as Now Playing, which identifies songs playing nearby.
The Pixel Watch 2 is expected to launch alongside the Pixel 8 series on October 4, but we may get to see more of it before then.
